SUBSTANCE: invention relates to method and device for controlling size of application launching device. Device comprises a display device having an accessible region for displaying a user interface and hardware modules, providing a demonstration of application launching means, for which there is possibility of dynamic re-adjustment of size both in horizontal and vertical directions inside display region of display device, and which includes plurality of applications presentations, which are selectable for transition to user interface of corresponding application, wherein modules comprise launching unit module, providing dynamic adjustment of application launching agent size based on indication of probable context of user usage in interaction with computing device in context of content consumption, or in the context of using performance, wherein the size of the application launching apparatus is less in the context of using performance compared to the content consumption context.

EFFECT: technical result consists in controlling dynamic size control of application launching device.
