SUBSTANCE: invention relates to user interfaces. Such result is achieved by determining that a single gesture has a start point at an edge of a first user interface or display and a later point not at edge, responsive to determining, causing a second user interface to be presented, determining, based on a successive point of gesture, that gesture includes a reversal, and responsive to determining that gesture includes reversal, causing second user interface to cease to be presented.

EFFECT: technical result consists in enabling selection of a user interface, not shown at present on display, by means of an edge gesture.
