SUBSTANCE: invention relates to flame arrester, which can be used in various fields, for example in chemical, oil refining, petrochemical, oil and gas industry, for burial of wastes, in biogas plants, etc., containing highly inflammable vapors, to prevent their ignition caused by potential sources, which can lead to fire, deflagration and / or detonation. Disclosed is a flame arrester element of a flame arrester, which can comprise a housing from a first material, having a first end, a second end and a plurality of channels formed in the housing, extending from the first end to the second end of the housing. Flame arrester can also contain a component made of a second material, which is attached to the body, wherein the second material differs from the first one. Component can be configured to remove heat from the liquid flowing through the plurality of channels.
