FIELD: instrumentation.
SUBSTANCE: this invention relates mainly to sensors for industrial production, used in systems of industrial production management. In particular, this invention relates to flame extinguishers for sensors for industrial production. The proposed group of inventions includes a production sensor to determine at least one process parameter of working fluid, and also the method of its manufacturing. At the same time the production sensor comprises: a sensor body with an inner part; a sensor transducer arranged in the inner part, to detect the process parameter of industrial production and generation of the sensor transducer signal; an electronic circuit of the sensor arranged in the inner part and connected with the sensor transducer; a passage in connection with the sensor transducer stretching via the inner part of the sensor body, at the same time the passage has the first cross section; and a flame extinguisher made of bar work and arranged in the passage, at the same time the flame extinguisher has the second cross section, differing from the first cross section, besides, the second cross section has hexahedral shape; where the flame extinguisher forms a channel in the inner part of the passage, having the area of the cross section less than in the first cross section of the passage. The stated method of flame extinguisher manufacturing for use in the production sensor for detection of at least one process parameter of working fluid includes stages, when: they create a through hole by mechanical treatment in a stock shaped as a sensor component, besides, the through hole has a round cross section; and an extended flame extinguisher is inserted into the through hole, at the same time the flame extinguisher has a hexahedral cross section, which forms at least one channel between the through hole and the flame extinguisher and which enters in contact with the inner surface of the through hole.
EFFECT: increased sensitivity of a sensor transducer, in improvement of flame extinguishing properties of an isolating channel, to provide a clearer passage, which reduces amount of dirt and loose material getting into the passage, thus, chances of problems in operation of the sensor transducer are less (for instance, the varied capacity of the filling liquid), and also in simplification in production and cost reduction.
