SUBSTANCE: invention relates to methods for manufacturing a flame extinguisher. A flame supply element contains a case and a set of channels made in the case as a whole with it. Each channel defines a non-linear flow path. The case is made with the possibility of heat removal from a flame front distributing through the specified non-linear flow path. The flame extinguisher contains a shell and a flame supply element located in the shell and containing a case and means of creating turbulence in flame distributing through the flame extinguisher. The method for custom manufacturing of a flame extinguisher assembly made with the possibility of extinguishing flame distributing through it includes the creation of a custom flame supply element using additive manufacturing technology, including the implementation of the case and the implementation of one or more channels in the case that specify the flow path, made with the possibility of heat transfer from the flame front distributing through it to the case, providing the shell and a reliable location of the flame supply element in the shell. The method provides the flame extinguisher that causes turbulent flow of a higher level than usual flame extinguishers, without the formation of negative effects caused by turbulence created by screens or drawn metal. In some cases, the method may reduce the number of flame supply elements required for use in the given flame extinguisher, thereby reducing the weight and/or production costs of the flame extinguisher.

EFFECT: invention helps to obtain a shorter flame extinguisher, which in turn reduces a pressure drop in the flame extinguisher.
