FIELD: technological processes.

SUBSTANCE: energy-efficient device for laser cutting of materials can be used for rapid and high-precision manufacturing of complex contour parts from sheet workpiece. Essence of the invention consists in that the device comprises a power supply, a laser emitter, optical elements, a nozzle, a cooling system of the laser emitter, a process gas supply system and a system for transferring heat energy from the cooling system of the laser emitter to the processed workpiece. Part of heat energy by means of heat energy transfer system comes from cooling system of laser emitter to treated workpiece. Workpiece is heated and its cutting requires less laser radiation energy, or destruction boundary velocity increases without increase in laser radiation power. Calculations show that workpiece heating by 10 degrees reduces required laser radiation power by 1 %.

EFFECT: device allows maximum usage of electric energy feeding laser technological complex.
