FIELD: pharmacology.
SUBSTANCE: invention refers to pharmacology and discloses a method for producing a thermostable lyophilized immunogenic composition. Method involves obtaining pre-formed vesicles containing a lipid component, which contains a nonionic surfactant, which is 1-monopalmitoylglycerine (MPG), a steroid, which is cholesterol (CHO), and an ionic amphiphilic substance, which is diphosphatidylglycerol (DPPG), combining pre-formed vesicles with an aqueous solution which contains a thermolabile drug to form a mixture, homogenising the mixture to form a homogenate and lyophilising the homogenate.
EFFECT: thermally stable lyophilised composition has high stability at temperatures higher than 4 °C compared to a lyophilized immunogenic composition consisting of a thermolabile drug.
