SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to construction. Dry or paste-like mortar for plaster or coating used in interior finishing contains at least one binder, at least granules, fillers, sand and/or fillers and at least one additive. Said at least one additive is an agent in form of a powder capable of trapping aldehydes, such as formaldehyde, acetaldehyde, propionaldehyde, crotonaldehyde, butyraldehyde, benzaldehyde, valleraldehyde or hexaldehyde, and is a primary amino alcohol of formula R₁R₂R₃-C-NH₂, where R₁, R₂ and R₃ means alkyl groups containing from 1 to 6 carbon atoms (C1-C6), hydrogen atoms or hydroxyl groups -OH, wherein at least one of groups R₁, R₂ or R₃ contains hydroxyl group.

EFFECT: technical result is effective removal of aldehydes for several years with preservation of coating colour and no odour.
