SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to medical equipment. Device for training users to properly mix pharmaceutical components includes a body which is located along a longitudinal axis; a power supply located in the housing; microcontroller located in housing and supplied with power supply from power supply source; user notification device and accelerometer. Accelerometer is located in housing and electrically connected to microcontroller so that microcontroller is able to detect movement and orientation of housing and indicate, by means of device, notification of user whether movement or orientation of housing, shaken during one of use of drug or training, sufficient relative to preset threshold values including value of force applied during shaking, orientation of housing and duration of such shaking. Microcontroller is also configured to detect whether the shaking of the housing has ended prematurely or the level of the shaking force has decreased to a level below a predetermined threshold, to switch to pause mode to allow the user to restart shaking during one of the use of the drug or training. Disclosed is a method for instructing a user on proper technique of mixing a drug using an educational device or a device for mixing and assisting in using the drug.

EFFECT: technical result consists in providing experience with respect to minimum duration and strength of shaking.
