SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a mobile unit and a method of activating a touch-activated command. The mobile unit for activating a touch-activated command comprises a processor, memory and a display which displays a user interface, wherein each touch-activated command from a plurality of commands is displayed with a corresponding icon selected from an icon library, each filtered depending on one or more touch-activated commands; the corresponding icon indicates the selected orientation of the mobile unit assigned to the touch-activated command, and the selection of the orientation of the mobile unit is filtered in a user-created interface in order to disable selection of orientations which lead to overlapping between commands; and a sensor which determines orientation of the mobile unit, which activates the corresponding touch-activated command.

EFFECT: enabling presentation of icons, which represent movement and/or orientation, to a user, which activate different commands.
