SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medical equipment, namely to injection devices. Injection device comprises a body having a proximal end, a distal end and a longitudinal axis extending therebetween, and an injection component including an outlet channel. Outlet channel in the pre-injection position is completely contained inside the housing. Outlet channel in the injection position partially or completely extends beyond the body along the longitudinal axis at the distal end of the body. Body has a section with a non-rotationally symmetrical cross-section relative to the longitudinal axis at the proximal end of the body. At that, the non-rotationally symmetrical cross-section in one or more points along the longitudinal axis has a flat section and partial round or elliptical section along its periphery and the portion of the flat portion decreases in the distal direction from the proximal to the distal end so that the portion of the partial circular or elliptical portion of the periphery of the non-rotationally symmetrical cross-section increases in that distal direction.

EFFECT: disclosed is an injection device with an ergonomic body.
