SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medical equipment, namely to caps for an injection device. Cap includes a removable needle protector for covering the needle of the syringe inside the injection device, and also contains: cap body; a first section interacting with the protector and movable relative to the cap body and a second section interacting with the protector and movable relative to the cap body. At that, the first portion interacting with the protector comprises a first clamped portion configured so that the application of a compressive force to the first clamped portion results in the interaction of the first portion interacting with the protector, with the needle protector for removing the needle protector together with the cap when it is removed from the injection device. At that, the second portion interacting with the protector comprises a second clamped portion configured so that the application of a compressive force to the second clamped portion results in the interaction of the second portion, interacting with the protector, with the needle protector to remove the needle protector together with the cap when it is removed from the injection device. First section interacting with the protector and the second section interacting with the protector are connected with possibility of movement by means of a hinge section.
