SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to the pharmaceutical and cosmetic industry and represents a carrier for topical application of pharmaceutically or cosmetically active agents containing phosphatidylcholine, monoglyceride, fatty acid ester and C1-C3 alcohol and a volatile solvent selected from the group consisting of: ethanol; ethanol and C3-C4 alcohol, ethanol and volatile silicone oil and/or ethanol, C3-C4 alcohol and volatile silicone oil, wherein components in the carrier are in a certain ratio in wt. %, as well as pharmaceutical and cosmetic compositions containing said carrier and a sprayer containing said compositions.
EFFECT: invention provides recovery of the protective skin barrier when applying on the skin a pharmaceutical or cosmetic composition due to formation of a lipid layer after evaporation of the volatile solvent and/or absence of skin irritation.
