SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medicine, namely to obstetrics, and can be used for diagnosing placental insufficiency in a pregnant woman in period of 34–36 weeks with an infectious-inflammatory process. Method of diagnosing placental insufficiency of infectious-inflammatory genesis in pregnant women for 34–36 weeks by examining blood serum of a pregnant woman consists in the fact that blood serum is examined for the level of TLR-4 (toll-like receptor-4) and TNFα (tumor necrosis factor), and with TLR-4 value equal to 7.5 mcg/ml and more, and TNFα, equal to 78.5 pkg/ml and more, placental insufficiency of infectious-inflammatory genesis is diagnosed.

EFFECT: presented is a diagnostic technique for placental insufficiency of infectious-inflammatory genesis at 34–36 weeks of pregnancy.
