FIELD: means for marking.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to shear point meter at coupling cylindrical handrails or railings. Marker comprises two basing elements arranged on cylindrical guide, and at least one indicator located on one or both elements at distance of 25–250 mm from axis of guide, wherein each basing element forms, by its inner surface, a double guiding base for a cylindrical handrail in the form of an axis and is mounted on the guide so that the axis of the guide crosses the base formed by it at a right angle. According to the version of the invention, the marker comprises a cylindrical level, the axis of which is parallel to the axis of the cylindrical guide.
EFFECT: technical result consists in fast and accurate determination of place of cutting excess length of hand-rail when connecting by turning cylindrical hand-rails with smooth continuous turns.
