METHOD OF MEASURING STRESS LEVEL Russian patent published in 2019 - IPC A61B5/05 A61B5/16 G06K9/32

Abstract RU 2699929 C1

FIELD: physics.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to physics and can be used in physiology and medicine to determine a person's psychophysical state on the basis of measuring activity of sweat glands on a finger pad, in particular to measurement of stress level. When calibrating the device for measuring the level of stress, the moistened finger pad is pressed against the capacitive sensor with a strain gage and the maximum intensity of the pixels is determined. Finger pad and the capacitive sensor are wiped. Pin cushion is pressed to capacitive sensor with strain gage. Pressing force is measured by means of strain gage. Fingerprint image is captured from capacitance sensor when pressing force is 0.25–0.35 kgf. Image is transmitted to a control unit to select an image section for analysis in form of a circle, square or oval. Pixels are separated with intensity of not more than 5 % of maximum image intensity for analysis and excluded from further analysis. Linked areas are selected, in which intensity of adjacent pixels differs from maximum possible pixel intensity by not more than 15 %. Calculating total area of bound areas Sba in relation to area of analyzed section S. Data are processed from strain gage for determination of tremor at measurement moment. Stress level is calculated on the basis of calculated values.

EFFECT: providing simplicity and efficiency of obtaining results with high accuracy of readings, as well as ranking results by degree of intensity of psychological excitement, stress.
