SUBSTANCE: device for measuring the activity of sweat glands on a finger pad comprises glass plates (3, 4) arranged parallel to each other with a gap filled with a gas dielectric, chamber (5), the lens of which is directed at the plates, and the control unit with the power source. Plate (3) that contacts the finger pad is opaque. Plate (4) located between the opaque plate and the chamber is transparent with conductive spraying and is connected to the control unit. Method includes applying voltage to the transparent plate, pressing the finger pad to the outer opaque plate of the device, and fixing the image by the camera.

EFFECT: it is possible to increase the accuracy of the device readings and the results of measurements of the activity of the sweat glands on the finger pad, the ability to conduct measurements without the use of light shields and the absence of a "human factor", such as an operator or an expert.
