FIELD: medical equipment.

SUBSTANCE: portable device for determining electric activity of skin of a subject comprises a radiation source for emitting light, including infrared light with a wavelength in range of 750 to 950 nm, into the tissues of said subject, a light sensor for producing at least part of the emitted light after reacting said emitted light with tissue, an evaluation unit for determining skin electrical activity on the obtained light and a base for locating the radiation source, the light sensor and the evaluation unit, in which said radiation source and light sensor are located at a predetermined distance from each other.

EFFECT: disclosed are a wearable device and a method for determining skin electrical activity of a subject.
