FIELD: instrument engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of optical instrument-making and concerns a high-speed photodetector based on the effect of electrons entrainment with photons. Photodetector has a conducting nano-graphite film, which is graphite crystallites, and at least one pair of electrodes arranged on the film on its different sides and having electrical contact therewith. Conducting nano-graphite film is made free from conducting substrate. Pairs of electrodes are placed at the ends of straight sections passing through the central area of the conductive nano-graphite film, on which the optical radiation is directed, wherein the angle between the segments of straight lines has integer parts of 90 degrees.
EFFECT: technical result consists in elimination of shunting of photoinduced electric signal and / or occurrence of parasitic slowly varying signal caused by Dember effect, and similar to it related to temperature gradient arising under action of optical radiation.
