SUBSTANCE: claimed invention relates to devices for installation of clock power supplies and clocks containing such device. Device for installation of power supply to portable electronic device comprises recess and cover for closing recess, wherein the cover comprises a bottom, an annular wall protruding from the bottom and forming a receptacle for receiving a power supply, wherein the cover and the portable electronic device comprise mating retainers for holding the cover on the portable electronic device and for sealing the recess. According to the present invention, the cover comprises means for retaining a power supply in the cover socket, which comprise tabs having a semicircular cross-section and forming an integral structure with an annular wall, wherein power supply means contain support ledges to replace tabs.
EFFECT: technical result consists in improvement of reliability of power supply in socket.
