FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: present invention relates to a method for treatment of off-gas containing polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons, which includes a stage of irrigation scrubbing with the help of mineral oil to catch said hydrocarbons, characterized by that mineral oil contains a mixture of aromatic mineral oil and naphthenic mineral oil.
EFFECT: invention also includes use of naphthenic mineral oil to reduce viscosity of aromatic mineral oil loaded with polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons, preferably aromatic mineral oil containing not more than 30 % by volume of polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons.
