FIELD: machine building.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to hydrodynamic transmission. Hydrodynamic gearbox comprises two pump wheels representing round flat discs, on front peripheral part of which radially directed blades are firmly installed. First wheel is rigidly coupled with input shaft. Second and subsequent pump wheels, diameter of each of which is larger than diameter of previous, are installed with their hubs on hubs of previous pump wheels with possibility of free rotation on them, but without the possibility of axial mutual movement so that on the rear side of each disc there is a device for locking it with the next pump wheel, and the last pump wheel – with the turbine wheel. Turbine wheel is installed on the input shaft and in the crankcase of the drive device on bearings and is connected to the reverser mechanism and running gear of the vehicle.
EFFECT: simplified design of automatic transmission of vehicle.
