FIELD: hydrodynamic transmission.
SUBSTANCE: continuously varying hydrodynamic automatic transmission contains an input shaft on which a central disk with radially directed grooves is rigidly fixed. On both sides of the central disk on the input shaft there are two mirror identical pump wheels. On the parts and on the periphery of the pump wheels, radially directed blades are fixed, and in the space between them there are rows of holes into which axles are inserted, rigidly attached to one of the ends of the movable blades curved in a certain arc. The blades have the ability to rotate in these holes to a limited extent. The ends of the axes of the blades have splines, on which the legs of the blades are rigidly fixed perpendicular to the axis of the blade. The second ends of the axes of the blades have protrusions parallel to the axes of the blades. Two turbine wheels with radially directed blades rigidly attached to them are covered with conical or toroidal circular disks. The housing is mounted on bearings on the drive shaft and in the crankcase of the flywheel of the drive device and is connected to the reverse mechanism and the chassis of the vehicle.
EFFECT: increase of the transmitted power, and the service life is achieved.
