FIELD: control systems.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to vehicle control devices. Steering column includes input shaft, on which steering wheel is installed, output shaft connected with wheels of vehicle and located axially with input shaft, torsion connected with input and output shafts. Electric motor comprises a rotor and a stator, a control unit which generates and supplies to the electric motor control signals depending on the torsion twist angle. Ends of input and output shafts are equipped with ledges and slots. Control unit comprises current-conducting plates installed on input shaft with brushes and current collector, installed on opposed to current-conducting plates on output shaft disk with left and right current-conducting paths connected to negative pole of power supply source, and a segmented current-conducting path with an odd number of segments, which are connected in pairs to each other by wires and a central segment connected to the positive pole of the power supply. Servo mechanism comprises a reversible motor and a hydraulic transformer mounted on the electric motor shaft, having a pump wheel rigidly fixed on the electric motor shaft and a turbine wheel freely rotating on the electric motor shaft, which is combined with the housing and kinematically connected to the output shaft. Blades of pump wheel have expansion in peripheral part, and blades of turbine wheel are attached to surface of housing and are closed on sides of discs. Splined sleeve is fitted inside hollow input shaft to displace inside input shaft in lengthwise direction, inside of which there is torsion bar, the second end of which is rigidly connected with output shaft.

EFFECT: reduced force at steering wheel at maneuvers at low speeds and turning of wheels on stationary vehicle due to possibility of additional control of torque on steering wheel, as well as noiselessness, simplicity in manufacture and increased reliability in operation.
