SUBSTANCE: invention relates to method for functional suppression of unmanned aerial vehicles. In order to realize the method, an unmanned aerial vehicle is detected, in the region at distance of 50–100 meters from it, by means of a launching device, a cartridge is made, which is configured to generate a series of ultrashort superhigh-frequency radio pulses in a certain frequency range, these pulses are generated towards the unmanned aerial vehicle until the power supply is completely discharged; after that, the cartridge is self-destructed by its explosion to create a field of striking elements for physical damage to the unmanned aerial vehicle and its destruction.

EFFECT: reduced required emission power for suppression of unmanned aerial vehicle and its destruction.
