FIELD: heating equipment.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the heat engineering and can be used in the art for liquid or gaseous media pre-heating, for example, as the recuperator. Method of plate heat exchanger manufacturing consists in that external and internal corrugated plates are made by stamping, and then in pairs are connected along peripheral edges, and formed by heat exchange elements (1) are connected to each other by means of external cylindrical housing, two peripheral (3, 4) and one central (2) separating rings, in each heat exchange element (1), flanging (11, 12), forming inlet and outlet manifold openings (13, 14), such that they (11, 12) protrude beyond periphery edge of plates along inner diameter of heat exchanger, wherein peripheral (3, 4) rings are made by connecting at least two connecting elements (15) so that they form a closed line, wherein at least two heat exchange elements (1) are installed in each connecting element (15). Plate heat exchanger is also disclosed.

EFFECT: technical result consists in improvement of dimensional accuracy of positioning connected, for example, by welding of structural elements edges, at which displacement of connected edges from nominal position will not exceed ½ mm, which will allow to perform automated assembly, for example welding in large-size assembly unit.
