FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medicine, particularly to traumatology and orthopedics, and concerns a method for prediction of somatic complications in the postoperative period in patients with hip and knee replacement. That is ensured by analyzing venous blood samples and determining the preoperative and postoperative values. Prior to operation, blood serum samples are analyzed for concentration of acute phase proteins: C-reactive protein, fibrinogen, urea, uric acid, creatinine and total blood analysis values: ESR, leukocytes, lymphocytes and with concentration of C-reactive protein 0–28 mg/l, fibrinogen 1.5–4.0 g/l, urea 2.5–11, uric acid not more than 430 mg/l, creatinine (for females not more than 97 mcmol/l; for men not more than 115 mcmol/l). In the postoperative period, the patient's blood serum is analyzed for the first, third, seventh, thirtieth day and every following month to six months and a year after surgery, obtained data are compared with data of developed Table "Dynamics of blood samples of patients before and after operation" (hereinafter – Tables), and first column is used in Table "Dynamics of blood values, 1 group, favorable pre- and postoperative course"; if patient's blood values do not exceed limits of parameter limits in said column of Table, then prediction of course of rehabilitation period in norm and correction of postoperative course is not required; if the patient's blood values fall outside the boundaries specified in the Table, then the column is compared with the table "Blood Group Dynamics, 2 group, unfavorable course before and after the operation" and predicts the patient's somatic complications in the postoperative period; based on the obtained data, postoperative management of the patient is corrected.
EFFECT: invention enables determining in polyclinic conditions the possibility of somatic complications not only from the cardiovascular, but respiratory system, as well as from the liver and kidneys both in the nearest postoperative period, and throughout the year.
