METHOD FOR PREDICTION OF POSTOPERATIVE COMPLICATIONS AND AGGRAVATION OF TUBERCULOSIS PROCESS AFTER SURGICAL INTERVENTION Russian patent published in 2020 - IPC A61B10/00 G01N33/68 G01N33/573

Abstract RU 2724187 C1

FIELD: medicine.

SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medicine, namely to clinical-laboratory diagnostics, and can be used for prediction of postoperative complications and exacerbation of tuberculosis process after surgical intervention. Levels of acute inflammation markers in the form of serum amyloid A and C-reactive protein are measured before operation, one week after operation and one month after operation. If observing a simultaneous increase in the level of serum amyloid A and C-reactive protein in a week relative to the measurement results before the operation and one month after the operation relative to the measurements one week after the operation, postoperative complication in the form of exudative pleurisy or exacerbation of the tuberculosis process is predicted.

EFFECT: method provides higher accuracy of prediction and wider range of technical means that can be used for prediction of postoperative complications in tuberculosis diseases by comparative analysis of levels of markers of acute phase of inflammation: serum amyloid A and C-reactive protein before operation and after it.
