SUBSTANCE: method involves determining mean cytochemical neutrophil cation proteins index value at the second-fourth day after operation. The value being equal to or greater than 1.70 units, acute pneumonia in early postoperative period is to be predicted, otherwise, noncomplicated clinical course is to be predicted in postoperative period.
EFFECT: enhanced effectiveness of short-term prognosis.
