FIELD: measuring equipment.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to measurement equipment and can be used for continuous monitoring of fuel leaks (gasoline, kerosene, diesel fuel, as well as other volatile explosive liquids) and detection of higher concentrations of fuel vapor in indoor air, closed volumes (underground structures and communications). Invention differs from the known one in that the second detection cell is introduced into the apparatus for determining leaks of explosive liquids, consisting of a series-connected piezoelectric sensor, a frequency meter and a unit for detecting the rate of change of oscillation frequency; in each of cells a piezosensor regeneration unit; as well as series-connected "OR" logic element and control unit, output of which is connected to combined inputs of piezosensor regeneration units of first and second detection cells; logical "AND" element, the output of which is connected to the combined second input of the control unit and the input of the actuating device, Note here that outputs of oscillation rate recording unit of first and second detection cells are connected to combined first inputs of logical "AND" and "OR" elements and combined second inputs of "AND" and "OR" gates, respectively.

EFFECT: technical result of claimed solution is minimization of probability of false actuations of device, shorter time of regeneration of piezosensor after detection of fuel leak.
