FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a method and apparatus for production α-olefin low-molecular weight polymer by exposure α-olefin of low-molecular weight polymerisation in the presence of a catalyst in a liquid-phase portion in a reactor. Gas is withdrawn from gas-phase zone of reactor, it is introduced for cooling to shell-and-tube heat exchanger and circulating and supply of produced condensed liquid to reactor is provided. Gas is supplied from gas feed hole with density of 20 kg/m3 and more at gas flow rate of 1 m/s and more. Heat exchanger includes jet nozzles for supply of sprayed drops located between the hole for gas supply and the pipe baffle. Injection nozzles are arranged in five and more positions at rate of 1.00 m2 surface area of pipe baffle plate.
EFFECT: technical result is suppression of formation of polymer on surface of upper tube partition of shell and tube heat exchanger for providing stable continuous operation for a long period of time.
