SUBSTANCE: method of cooling the effluent from the quenching column involves conversion of the effluent from the quenching column to the condensate of the additional cooler of the quenching column; cooling the effluent from the quenching column to produce a condensate of the additional cooler of the quenching column; returning at least part of condensate of additional cooler of hardening column to additional cooler of hardening column at recirculation ratio, providing thickness of liquid film from 0.1 to 1.1 mm on heat exchanger tubes in additional cooler of quenching column.
EFFECT: invention provides preventing contamination of the additional cooler of the quenching column.
