FIELD: technological processes.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to recycling of abrasives used in hydroabrasive cutting of materials and can be used both in general cutting cycle and separately from hydroabrasive cutting unit for regeneration of used abrasives, in particular, garnet sand. Method of recycling pomegranate sand wastes from hydroabrasive cutting consists in that pomegranate sand pulp is pumped into storage hopper by pump, liquefied with water, turbulized by mixing device, then, with constant flow, the turbulized mixture is drained through a dispenser to a concentration table, on which the mixture is divided into three mass flows by longitudinal table oscillations and uniform supply of wash water along the long side of the table deck: flow containing coarse-grained pomegranate sand, flow containing finely dispersed pomegranate sand, and flow with particles of cut material. After separation, flow with coarse-grained pomegranate sand is transported by screw into filtering tank for primary dewatering, equipped with mesh with cell diameter of not less than 40 mcm, dried in a rotating drum furnace, packed after drying. Flows with fine-dispersed garnet sand and particles of cut material are directed into sedimentation tank for settling.

EFFECT: improving recycling efficiency of wastes of hydro-abrasive cutting, reducing environmental load on environment.
