FIELD: material machining by cutting, in particular, devices for material cutting with use of energy of high-pressure and high-velocity jet of fluid with abrasive. SUBSTANCE: method includes supply of fluid to pump system which is used for building up pressure and feeding it to nozzle device in which it is mixed with abrasive flow and formed into jet which flows out and acts on material to be cut. Novelty consists in that abrasive flow is passed through additional accelerating device in which abrasive flow is accelerated to velocity of not less than 200 m/s. In this case velocity of abrasive flow may be regulated. Then accelerated abrasive flow is directed to axis of fluid flow. In so doing, flow of abrasive from fine dispersed particles is accelerated due to gas pressure differential, for instance, across the ends of capillary tube and accelerated electrostatic and magnetic fields may be applied additionally to particle flow.
