FIELD: mining.
SUBSTANCE: invention refers to ore mining and processing industry, and namely to benefication processes, and can be used for obtaining a concentrate during processing of metal-bearing sands. Benefication method of metal-bearing sands includes supply of basic sands and water to inclined swinging surface - deck with riffles, distribution of the appeared mass flow along the deck surface, its loosening, movement of particles along the deck by means of its back-and-forth vibrations and across the deck - by supplying a thin layer of wash water with further cutting of the formed concentrate on the deck end. Movement of mass flow is performed along the deck surface under the layer of flexible film, and additional loosening of particles is performed in inter-riffle space by means of their transverse shear against water flow with accelerated transportation towards the concentrate unloading. Method is performed by means of the device containing the support frame with the deck installed on it and equipped with longitudinal riffles, supply and distribution devices of sands and water, back-and-forth vibration mechanism, and separation products receiver. Deck is equipped with flexible covering made for example from lavsan, capron, polyethylene, which is located above riffles with a gap and fixed on the deck on the mass flow supply side. Side surface of riffles on mass flow supply side is of scalloped saw-toothed shape with inclination of teeth towards the outlet of concentrate. Pitch of teeth is less than length of the travel of back-and-forth movement of the deck.
EFFECT: increasing the benefication efficiency of fine metal-bearing sands, as well as increasing the content of rich component in the concentrate.
