FIELD: electronic and television engineering.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to field of electronic television equipment, namely to equipment for outdoor observation. Claimed universal mounting box for video cameras is made in form of truncated sphere, includes box body, box insert and box cover. Box body is made as a single non-detachable structure combining the bottom of the box with water discharge channels, fixing legs and openings under the hinge for commutation of cable connectors, sector of the side wall with openings under the hatch, a hole on the upper part for input of cable connectors and fixators for attachment of the cover. Water discharge channels are made on inner surface of box bottom and represent chutes changing their direction and height in order to prevent water ingress inside box. Fastening legs are made so that they protrude outwards from the bottom plane by several millimeters, which makes it possible to move the bottom of the box body from the wall. Cartridge insert represents a part of spherical housing lateral sector, on the inner side of which there is a window under the catch and latches designed for reliable fixation in the box body. On outer side there is latch for lid, made in form of protrusion. Box insert also has holes for its final fixation together with housing on mounting surface by means of fasteners. Cover has a spherical shape, has four openings for fracture, retainers-catches located on four sides of the product, guides, which are aligned with recesses for fasteners on the body and insert.
