FIELD: optics.
SUBSTANCE: invention is intended for its use in optical communication lines. Housing of device for installation and distribution of optical cables includes base with side and end walls, cover with collars, opening between one of end walls of base and adjoining to it cover bead. Housing has means for binding and fixation of cover to base of housing, in housing there is a cavity for placement of mounting panel in it, which is attached to base, which is equipped with means for its attachment to external bearing structures. Housing is equipped with a sealing unit located in the opening of the end wall of the base; the sealing unit has cylindrical holes and a plurality of grooves, on the joint lines of which the end wall of the base and the cover flange have passages for cable entry. At that, cylindrical holes of end wall and sealing unit are located mirror-like relative to each other, and slots are located on opposite side from cylindrical holes of sealing unit, at that, cylindrical holes are formed by semi-cylindrical grooves of sealing unit and semi-cylindrical grooves of gasket, slots are formed by recesses of upper part of sealing unit, as a result cylindrical holes and slots are formed by sealing block and gaskets. Surface of jointed perimeter of sealing unit is covered with elastic sealing material. At least one of passages for cables has cylindrical shape in form of groove. Mounting panel is connected to the sealing unit. Base and cover are connected by hinged detachable loop with device for fixation of open position of cover with latches with handles and spring loops. In closed state latch handles are fixed with screws. Elements for attachment to walls and pillars are made on body base.
EFFECT: technical result of invention is expansion of functional capabilities of housing and provision of input of optical cables into housing along two lines of joint, which increase number of cable entries for improvement of installation works.
