FIELD: engine building.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to engine building, particularly, to tests of elements and assemblies of fuel equipment of diesel engine, and is intended for testing of plunger pair of fuel pump for hydraulic density. Proposed device for testing plunger pairs for hydraulic density differs from designs of devices known for this purpose by the following features. Axis of the instrument lever contacting the plunger pin of the tested plunger pair is perpendicular to the plunger axis at the beginning of the test. Stand, on which the lever is mounted, has the possibility of changing height relative to the tested plunger pair, which enables to test on the proposed device plunger pairs of different length. Position of rack height is controlled by means of scale fixed on housing, and arrow marked on bushing. Proposed device has guide yoke with damper installed thereon from resilient material. Fork is also adjustable in height and mounted on the body. On the lever there is a scale allowing to control the load position on the lever and to adjust the lever action force on the plunger of the controlled plunger pair. Load position indicator on the lever is the left or right load ends. Connection of lever and load represents threaded connection and allows smooth movement of load along lever. Performing free end of round-shaped lever with rolled surface of diameter and length, which is convenient for operator's grip in process of lever movement.

EFFECT: higher efficiency, safety, convenience and accuracy of testing process of plunger pairs of fuel pumps for hydraulic density.
