FIELD: shipbuilding.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to shipbuilding, namely, to reverse-steering devices of ships with water-jet propellers. Reverse-steering water-jet propeller comprises deflector and reversible curved reversing water duct, which is installed with possibility of rotation in vertical plane. On the deflector there is a rotary control head of the vessel, the reversible water conduit is made tubular and installed directly on the rotary head under its outlet by means of an ear, fixed on external surface of rotary head and bracket, which interacts with side surface of tubular solid water conduit. In working position of water duct edge part of control head is located in inner cavity of bent water conduit.
EFFECT: higher efficiency of propeller due to reduced hydrodynamic losses and simplified design.
