FIELD: water and air purification technology.
SUBSTANCE: invention can be used to purify water. Initial water is supplied by a pump or a high-pressure pumping station to the first stage of a reverse-osmosis apparatus, where the initial water flow is divided into two: a concentrate of the first stage – water enriched with salts, and a permeate of the first stage – partially desalinated water. Then, the first stage permeate is supplied to the second stage of the reverse-osmosis apparatus, where the flow also divides into two: the concentrate of the second stage – salt-enriched water, and the second stage permeate – desalted water. Then concentrate of the second stage is returned to the beginning of the process at the first stage and mixed with initial water, and desalted water is removed from the process. Only one pump or high-pressure pump station is used, and in the first stage installation, pressure in the permeate channel is increased from 5 to 30 atm.
EFFECT: proposed group of inventions provides simplification of cleaning process, shorter processing time due to absence of intermediate stages at maintaining high efficiency and efficiency of water purification from salts, as well as reduced material consumption of equipment.
