FIELD: technological processes; manufacturing technology.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a tool head for electromechanical hardening of cylinder sleeves. Tool head comprises shaft, spring and hard-alloy rollers. Two coaxial bushings are attached to the shaft end by means of a coupling nut, in the axial through hole of which there is a spring-loaded movable stock. At one end of the rod there is a stopper for fixation in extreme positions. Other end of the rod is made in the form of three ledges arranged uniformly along the circumference with tapered surfaces entering into rectangular holes along the conjugated conical surfaces of replaceable supports with hard-alloy rollers installed in radial holes of the bushing. Rollers and thrusts are isolated from each other, and between stoppers and bushing there are springs with replaceable washers.
EFFECT: result is better alignment of strengthening head relative to processed hole and provides its uniform supply.
