FIELD: physics.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the metrology. Method of vibration control of truss rods located in hard-to-reach medium includes excitation of forced elastic vibrations in the rod with variable frequency and registration of frequency value of its resonance oscillations. As the excited rod, one of the bars of the upper frame of the truss, which is easily accessible for measurement and located outside the hard-to-access medium, is selected, the rod is connected in series with a rigid fixing and curved in specified way adjustable length spacer with all controlled rods of lower belts and trusses, located in hard-to-reach medium in the zone of possible implementation of their mechanical contact with the selected excited rod, and performing the process of freezing a segment of hard-to-access medium enclosing the corresponding monitored rod, wherein said resonance frequency of the excited rod is recorded in the above manner for each compound twice before and after the freezing process, and the presence of a defect in the corresponding controlled hard-to-reach rod is judged by a sharp increase in the resonant frequency of the excited rod in the second measurement, after which other easily accessible rods of the upper frame of the truss are selected as excited, and the control process is repeated similarly to cover the entire zone of rods in a hard-to-reach medium.
EFFECT: technical result is higher efficiency, accuracy of measurements, reduced labour intensity of control.
