FIELD: electrical communication equipment.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to wireless communication. Technical result is achieved by connecting the connected device and relaying data packets from the connected device to the peripheral audio/video device and/or from the peripheral audio/video device to the connected device, using the first IP address of the master device as the IP address of the source of the master device for wireless communication when connecting the connected device, using the second IP address of the master device as the IP address of the source of the master device for wireless communication for setting up a direct connection to the peripheral audio/video device, while the master device acts as an audio/video source relative to the peripheral device, providing a second IP address of the master device to the device being connected.
EFFECT: technical result consists in enabling reduction of required costs for relay while maintaining compatibility with peripheral audio/video device, requiring direct connection between source of AV-data and peripheral audio/video device.
