FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medicine, particularly to a method of treating graze wounds, skin and musculocutaneous wounds in horses, cattle and small cattle, involving wound treatment with a composition containing the following components, %: birch tar – 37, pure Ichthyol – 37, iodine solution 2 % – 18.5 and to reduce the number of treatments and anesthesia, novocaine powder – 7.5. Wound treatment with this composition is carried out once a day before formation of the scab, and then once in three days to moisten the scab before its disappearance.
EFFECT: implementation of the invention allows to accelerate the formation of a scab on the wound surface with subsequent rejection and replacement of the defect with epithelialised granulation tissue.
