SUBSTANCE: invention relates to veterinary medicine and represents a method of treating purulent-necrotic injuries of hooves in cattle, including removal of necrotic tissues, drying the surface of the defect, applying a medicinal agent, applying a dressing, characterized by that the medicinal agent used in the hydration phase is a mixture of dry powdered leaves of smoke bush, sumach, sophora japonica, magnesium sulphate, zinc oxide and Rivanol, wherein the components in the medicinal agent are in a certain weight ratio, %, wherein application of the drug is repeated in 2-3 days course to 5-6 procedures, and in the phase of dehydration, an ointment is used, prepared from collection of fresh milled medicinal plants of smoke bush, sumach, sophora japonica, wax, rosin, olive oil and benzyl alcohol, wherein the components of the ointment are in certain proportions, wt%, wherein the ointment dressing is held for 2-3 days with course of 5 days.

EFFECT: invention provides reducing the length of treatment of purulent-necrotic injuries of hooves of infectious form of various degree of severity in cattle, which enables to effectively cure animals with minimal losses of forces and recovery of hooves.
