FIELD: explosives.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to explosion engineering, namely to cutting of metals and other solid materials by explosion, and can be used for cutting and recycling of metal structures both on ground surface, and under water or in conditions of mining works, including in emergency situations. According to one of the embodiments, the charge for cutting solid materials is in form of a monolithic chute of an explosive, the cavity of which is filled with an inert material, and on surface of charge of opposite cavity continuous layer of high-strength explosive is applied, having detonation rate exceeding detonation velocity of explosive charge. Chute from side opposite to chute cavity is made with walls in form of dihedral angle, concave on chute ends side, which faces form with plane parallel to solid material being cut, angle α, which satisfies the inequality , where l is charge cavity width, and δ is thickness of solid material to be cut.
EFFECT: as a result, increase in cut depth in cut solid material with reduction of specific power of charge for cutting solid materials.
