FIELD: waste processing and disposal.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to processing and utilization of synthetic polymer materials and can be used for processing carbochain thermoplast wastes. Method of processing waste carbochain thermoplastics involves a stage of thermal liquefaction of raw material, a stage of its thermal decomposition, a stage of separation of decomposition products and their fractionation. Thermal decomposition step is carried out by pyrolysis at 500–600 °C and pressure of not more than 0.107 MPa in current of diluent gas. Pyrolysis products are then cooled down to 250–400 °C in quenching-evaporation apparatuses.
EFFECT: possibility of processing wastes of carbon-chain thermoplastics into monomers for their production.
