SUBSTANCE: invention refers to synthetic immunomodulators. Disclosed is the use of a cyclic derivative of barbituric acid (1-o-fluorobenzoyl-5-phenyl-5-ethyl-barbituric acid) – halonal as an immunomodulator.
EFFECT: halonal increases the spleen lymphoid cell proliferative activity and delayed type hypersensitivity manifestation; invention can be used as a modulator of functional activity of the immune system and its cellular elements both in norm, and in pathology (chronic alcoholism).
