SUBSTANCE: invention can be used in gas treatment, trapping of CO₂, distillation or transformation of air on floating barges intended for collection of hydrocarbons on offshore installations. Distributing tray 2 comprises at least one partition 6 confining compartments 8, 9. Inside distribution compartment 8 there are means 5 for passage of liquid through tray 2. Inside holding compartment 9 located on the periphery of tray 2, the liquid can not pass through it. Distributing compartment 8 is also equipped with gas passage device 4. Said tray is arranged in heat exchange and/or mass exchange column between gas and liquid.

EFFECT: ensuring good distribution and dispersion of liquid even at large inclination of the tray associated with rise and fall of sea water.
