FIELD: stripping column.

SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to a shell-and-tube stripping column for stripping a urea/carbamate mixture, a system for producing urea, the use of a stripping column for stripping a urea/carbamate mixture, and a method for stripping a urea/carbamate mixture. The proposed stripping column contains an upper end connected in fluid medium with the lower end through a plurality of tubes located within the housing. The upper end contains an inlet for a urea/carbamate mixture and an outlet for a gas mixture containing stripping gas and one or more stripped off compounds. The lower end contains an outlet for a urea/carbamate stream concentrated in urea. The stripping column additionally contains an inlet for a heating fluid and an outlet for a heating fluid fluidly connected to the annular space located between the plurality of tubes and the casing, as well as a steam distributor belt and a deflector at the inlet to ensure uniform steam flow near the inlet for steam, and has a longitudinal direction and lateral cross sections, with the longitudinal direction being parallel to the tubes, and the lateral cross sections being perpendicular to the longitudinal direction. A plurality of baffles are located in the annular space, the baffles determining the multipass cross flow in the annular space, while the baffles are parallel to the lateral cross sections within an error of less than 1°. The stripping column further comprises a plurality of deflectors located in the flow path, the deflectors being inclined or at right angles with respect to the baffles.

EFFECT: invention makes it possible to increase the efficiency of steaming and reduce the corrosion of tubes by increasing the uniformity of heating of the tubes.
